Biography
Dr. Paolucci Callahan is a social psychologist who conducts research on topics focused on social justice. His research topics include transgender prejudice, dehumanization of immigrants, antigay prejudice and empathy as prejudice reduction (with Dr. Alexis Boutin, Anthropology). His current project - in collaboration with Dr. Lynn Cominsky, Physics Department - focuses on reducing gender bias and sexual harassment in STEM disciplines and is funded by the National Science Foundation.
Dr. Paolucci Callahan is also the faculty fellow for Teaching and Learning at SSU's Center for Teaching and Educational Technology (CTET), where he offers campus wide workshops and consultations on evidence based practices in teaching and learning.
