Declare Psychology as your Major

As of Spring 2025, the Psychology major is no longer impacted at Sonoma State University. Current students can now declare the major using the university's Change of Major form. 

It is strongly recommended that you meet with an advisor before submitting the Change of Major form.

Impaction has also ended for first-year and transfer students applying for Fall 2025 admission and beyond. Simply indicate your interest in the Psychology major when you apply to SSU.
