Our research projects focus on how people change their definitions of fairness and their reactions to disadvantage or conflict when they identify themselves as members of different groups. At the moment, we are interested in three questions:
- When and why will observers intervene if they witness sexual misconduct?
- How do economic comparisons to peers shape the transition from university to work?
- When and why will observers evaluate a person who forgives a transgression more negatively than the person who transgressed?
